Enable Refunds to Shopify Store Credit

Return Prime now allows merchants to refund customers directly to their Shopify Store Credit—offering a seamless and flexible alternative to traditional refund methods. This is especially useful for encouraging repeat purchases and retaining revenue within your store.

Why Use Shopify Store Credit for Refunds?

  • Encourage Repeat Business: Customers are more likely to shop again when refunded to store credit.

  • Reduce External Transaction Fees: Avoid third-party refund processing costs.

  • Streamline Returns: Provide a hassle-free and brand-aligned refund experience.


How to Enable Shopify Store Credit in Return Prime

  1. Go to your Return Prime dashboard.

  2. Click on Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Integrations section.

  4. Find Shopify Store Credit in the list.

  5. Click Activate and then Save.

That’s it! Once activated, this refund option will be available when configuring refund rules or processing manual returns. You can also incentivise your customers to opt for this refund mode over others using Wonder Promotions feature.


Using Store Credit in Refund Rules You can integrate Shopify Store Credit as a refund mode in automation rules such as:

  • Auto-refunds

  • Green Returns

  • Partial Refund Rules

Just choose Store Credit from the refund mode dropdown while setting up the rule.
