It is quite important for us to know what is happening with the customers return and based on the status of the shipment, we tend to make a lot of decisions like initiating refund for the customer or sending their replacement order.
When you work with multiple logistic providers for your business, it becomes extremely difficult to learn their terminologies and statuses so we have simplified that you and your business. Here are the only statuses you will see on your Return Prime dashboard, irrespective of what logistic provider says:
Status | What it means? |
Requested | The pickup request/label has been created for the customer |
On the way to warehouse | The shipment is picked up/shipped by the customer and is on the way to your warehouse/return address |
Cancelled | The shipment is cancelled. You will have to create a new label/tracking number with your logistic provider from your Return Prime dashboard. |
Returned back to customer (RTO) | The shipment was picked up from customer but was returned back again due to some issue with delivery to your warehouse. We recommend you to reach out to your logistic provider support to get further help in such scenario. |
Lost | The shipment is lost and your logistic provider is unable to track it any further. We recommend you to reach out to your logistic provider support to get further help in such scenario. |
Issue with pickup from customer | Your logistic provider is facing some issue in picking up the shipment from your customer. We recommend you to reach out to your logistic provider support to get further help in such scenario. |
Pickup rescheduled | The shipment couldn't be picked from the customer and it has been rescheduled by the logistic provider. No action is ideally required from your end in such scenario. |
Out for pickup from customer | The logistic provider is already on the way to pick the shipment from your customer. |
Picked up from customer | The shipment has been picked from your customer and is on the way to your warehouse/return address for delivery. |
Returned to warehouse | The shipment has been delivered back to your warehouse/return address. |
Issue with delivery to warehouse | The logistic provider is facing some issue while delivering the shipment back to your warehouse/return address. We recommend you to reach out to your logistic provider support to get further help in such scenario. |
Not available | The logistic provider doesn't have any information available regarding your shipment. We recommend you to reach out to your logistic provider support to get further help in such scenario. |
